Hoarding clean-up questions, answered
If your question isn't here, just call us — we're always happy to talk things through.
How long does a hoarding clean-up take?
It depends on the size and severity of the property and the pace that suits the person. A single room may take a day; a whole house can take longer. After a free assessment we give you a realistic timescale and a clear quote.
Is the service confidential?
Completely. We use plain, unmarked vehicles and a small, trusted team, and we never discuss your situation with anyone without your permission. Neighbours need never know.
Do I need to be present?
Not necessarily. Many people prefer to be there so they stay in control of decisions, but we can also work with family members, executors, landlords or support workers where that's more appropriate.
Will you throw my belongings away?
Never without your agreement. We sort everything with you into keep, donate, recycle and remove, and we always search for documents, valuables and keepsakes first.
Do you handle biohazards and severe cases?
Yes. We're equipped for contamination, infestation and Level 5 properties, using appropriate protective equipment and certified waste disposal.
How much does it cost?
Every property is different, so we give an itemised, no-obligation quote after assessing the home. Items of higher value can sometimes be offset against the cost.
Do you work with councils and social workers?
Regularly. We support social workers, housing associations, local authorities, landlords and estate agents with documented, reliable clean-up.
Which areas do you cover?
Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear and the wider North East — including Gosforth, Jesmond, Heaton, Wallsend, Tynemouth and Whitley Bay.
